Southern Border Constructors is a national design-build contractor specializing in heavy highway, infrastructure and water/wastewater projects in the United States. We are actively seeking qualified construction professionals for labor and management positions for US Army Corps of Engineers Border Infrastructure projects in the Rio Grande Valley of Southeast Texas.

The projects entail:

  • 41 miles of replacement/new border barrier and associated infrastructure
  • Location: Rio Grande City to McAllen, Texas
  • Construction Start: March 2020
  • Construction Finish: March 2023
  • Positions Needed: Laborers, Carpenters, Equipment Operators, Construction Supervision, Quality Control Professionals, Safety Professional, Project Engineers, Schedulers

All candidates must be able to meet Customs and Border Patrol Background Investigations, which checks for criminal history and proper immigration status. Veteran and minority applicants are encouraged to apply.
